I worked my way through Psalms and marked up lots of scriptures that were good...I could have marked up the whole book. =) I am now on Proverbs and finding the same thing.
As I read Psalms and Proverbs, I am also reading other books in the Bible. I am on 1 Samuel right now. The story of Hannah and Samuel is one of my favorites. I wonder, why? I actually like it for a lot of reasons other than us having the same name. =) Her trust and faithfulness in God amazes me. Then God's faithfulness to Hannah.
What I have found in reading this story:
God blessed Hannah more than she asked for. Hannah promised to give Samuel back to the Lord and she did. God then gave Hannah more children. This is one part I never noticed. 1 Samuel 2:21 says, "And the LORD visited Hannah, so that she conceived and bore three sons and two daughters. Meanwhile the child Samuel grew before the LORD." She was faithful with little so God trusted her with much. (Luke 16:10)
Ephesians 3:20
Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us
