The beach was amazing.... riding the waves, reading on the beach, going to the Naval Air Force Museum, eating(too much), and playing games consumed our time. Although the car trip was lengthy(14 hours) it was worth it. We have spent longer in the car on trips to Colorado so it was okay. Half way through the week I was saying it would be okay to leave Sunday but by the time Thursday and Friday had arrived I was not wanting to go home. It was a much needed vacation for all of us and I know we all enjoyed it immensely. I found out I was ready to be home once I got back though and ready for school to start. Weird, huh? I really have enjoyed school this week and that branches from what God has been teaching me in laying my burdens at his feet and taking his because they are light. =) The power of scripture is amazing and I can testify to that just because of the peace I have felt in the past week. As I said, school started this week and I really love it. I love seeing my friends and I was overjoyed to see my teachers. It was funny because Portia had to keep telling me to stop saying, "I love Mrs. Minter!!" Haha. :-D It is true though. Anyways, that is all for now. We have worship night at our house tonight, we are going swimming tomorrow with a bunch of friends, then I have a swim party Sunday with some friends from school. Busy, busy weekend.
