At the start of the year I traveled out of the country for the first time. I went to Moldova (Europe) on my first mission trip. God opened doors for me to minister to young girls and women. I experienced a new culture and discovered how our hearts are so connected even though we are thousands of miles apart.
In April I flew to Georgia. I spent a wonderful few days with people I love dearly. With one month of school left, it was a nice weekend getaway just to be rejuvenated to finish strong.
Now it is May and graduation is upon us. I fly out to California in a week to spend time with my Uncle and Aunt and my sister and brother (in-law). I will spend the first week in San Francisco site seeing and doing tourist-y things. The next week I road trip with my sister and brother to San Diego! I get to help them move and spend a few days in San Diego. I am looking forward to this trip :)
A couple of weeks after I return home to Texas we leave for youth camp! Like always it will be five of the most wonderful days of my life. I am anticipating what God is going to do in all of us! (One month away!)
My next adventure is a surprise. I can't wait to share all about it but this trip really makes me feel blessed. I can definitely see the words "opportunity and experience" that God gave me at the beginning of the year coming true.
THEN... our family mission trip! We leave early to spend a few days in our layover country, England! We get to see London and stay there before we go to Africa for two weeks! This trip is so full and exciting! It is coming so soon and God is providing. He is so faithful!
Europe. Georgia. California. Waxahachie. SURPRISE. Europe. Africa.
Then Arkansas. I have never traveled so much in my life. Nor have I ever moved to another state - especially by myself. It has been a blessing to have so many adventures this year and experience things I never have but the biggest adventure of all for me is moving. It is going to be different and consist of much change. It is an adventure though and it is a part of God's plan.
