Our Crazy Busy Fun Life!

The break was amazing but it is coming to an end. I'm so excited, though, to see all my friends and teachers regularly!

Well I can't start without mentioning the Alabama/Texas game. Although I am a born and raised Texas girl, I was cheering for Alabama. My mom's from there so Hunter and I root for her team. =) It was a wondeful victory and we had a wondeful night with the Cox's and some amazing teenpact people.

Last weekend was a blast. I spent the night with Beth (stayed up late, played wii and other games, talked..and talked, and talked!). Saturday morning we got up not too early ;) to go to the first yearbook meeting! We learned what we would be doing and picked committees to be a part of. I am on the journal committee! There is also a photo committee and design committee. We really all will be working together to pull together CAIA's first yearbook in these next few months!

Saturday we, of course, watched the Cowboys game! Their first win for a playoff game in over 10 years. Very exciting! Who knows? We might see them in the Superbowl. Oh and my favorite player...not doing so well anymore...I am loyal, though, and Barber will always be my Cowboy! =)

Hunter's friend, Littleton, also came over that night and I finally met him. The rest of my family had met him. I had heard plenty about him but never met him. He was fun!

Monday we were off book for Sleeping Beauty. A little scary...frightening...nerve-racking...but it went well, especially for first day of being off book. It's amazing how fast the performances come. I will post times and dates for that!

Monday night we had the first CAIA kids meeting. It is a divsion of the Cottage Theater Friends (which is adults in charge of fundraisers, events, etc, for the theater), but for the youth. We also have our own president, vice president, secretary, and treasurer. Alicia was elected president, Portia vice president, I am the secretary, and Robert is the treasurer. It's a big responsibility but I am excited! We have our first meeting today. :)

My mom is out of town from Tuesday until Sunday this week. She is on leadership for this month's heartquest. It's hard to run the house without her, but we manage it and also know that many ladies' lives are being touched with the love of God!

Ashtyn and I are staying with the Cox's Tuesday morning until Wednesday night. We always have a blast! I'm sure some pictures and/or videos will come of that!

God has blessed me so much. I have amazing friends! An awesome school with incredible teachers. A loving family. And the ability to homeschool and still have a lifetime of experiences (yearbook, being a board member, theatre, painting and building sets...).
