Your Identity in Christ

There are so many times the enemy tries to speak lies to us and many times it actually affects us. I know he does it to me. It's hard sometimes to push it away and not believe it. That is the enemy's goal (John 10:10). However, God wants us to know that no matter what, we are His child. We are special and nothing we can do will ever separate us from His love (Romans 8:38-39) and He wants us to hear and believe that. I have a hard time with that though. So that's what I am going to work on specifically these next few weeks.

My grandfather sent me an e-mail with all these scriptures with my name placed in them. It was pretty cool and I find it very encouraging. So I thought I would share the website! Click here if you're interested.

These "customized verses" make it sound like God is speaking right to you and He is. That's why I love it because He want's us to hear all the amazing things He thinks of/sees in us.

My goal:

-Every time I start to believe anything other than the truth or listen to the lies of the enemy, I am going to go to those verses or look up a verse that says what God really thinks.
