I Am Me, And You Are You!

This is a "topic" that really interests me. There are so many unique qualities about each one of us and I have a couple of different ways of branching out from this.

1) We are human. We make mistakes. Sometimes we want grace for ourselves, but are not willing to give it to others.

One way I see for fixing that problem, is accepting peole the way they are. God has made us special in our own way. Instead of us trying to change people to make them the way we want them to be, we need to learn to love people for who God made them to be.

I find myself struggling with this mostly in sharing a room with my sister. We both love each other but we are as different as night and day. I prefer the room fairly organized..she honestly doesn't mind junk every where. She is louder and just out there...I am a little more quiet in my personality and possibly reserved. Our differing personalities can make it extremely hard to share a room and have all of our stuff in the same area and that is when I have found me wanting to change her to be more organized like me. Recently, I have been working on and getting a lot better about not trying to make her organize, rather just mention I would appreciate it if she would pick up the stuff in the middle of the floor. It is working out better and I am getting used to everything not being entirely neat...which I am okay with. I mean even I don't keep everything put away and organized all the time.

2) Looking at things from a psychological point of view is so interesting to me. I think when I take psychology in college I am going to love it. Understanding the mind better and the way people think, to me, would make it easier to work with people. It is so neat how God wired us and that you can actually study it! =)
