Living in the Supernatural

This morning during my quiet time God revealed a lot to me through one scripture. John 16:33.

"I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world."

I was studying scripture, and this verse has always been one of my favorites, but it struck new meaning.

God said to pray His Kingdom come to earth. It is in the Lord's Prayer. In Matthew 3:2, it says "the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand." It is right there. It is available to us to walk in the supernatural where God's kingdom is here on earth.

So while I was reading John 16:33 I started thinking more and more about it. I always had a "surface knowledge" of what it meant. Yes, we can have peace because Jesus came to earth and died for us. I think this scripture means more though.

Because God sent His Son to earth to overcome the sins, stress, and sickness of this world, we can walk in complete wholeness and completeness with God. Jesus overcame the world so we do not have to "put up" with anything this world tried to use to slowly pull us away from God.

We can choose to live in the supernatural. We can choose to look at sickness in the face and tell it to leave because Jesus overcame it. We do not have to let the wolrd overcome us.

Just think what we could do if we all walked in that.

I am still trying to figure out how to put it into words but there its is, the best I could do for now. =)
